The Otto Bar Stool Cushion adds comfort without changing the character of the stool. The profile follows the seat dimensions at 43.5 × 37 cm and sits within the frame, maintaining the clean proportions of the Otto while providing a softer seating surface for longer use. It can be placed permanently outdoors or used only when needed.
The cushion uses outdoor-rated Olefin fabric, a solution-dyed polypropylene material selected for UV resistance, moisture tolerance, and long-term colour stability under permanent outdoor conditions. Inside, high-density outdoor foam maintains its shape and support over time without collapsing or becoming uneven. At 6 cm thick, the cushion adds meaningful comfort without significantly raising the effective seat height.
A discreet Velcro attachment underneath aligns with the teak slats, keeping the cushion in position without visible straps or ties. The cushion removes in seconds for drying or storage and works equally well as a permanent outdoor cushion or as an optional comfort layer when preferred.
